Bob Traynor has nearly forty years experience carrying out successful sales, marketing, and management responsibilities. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Blue Cross of California, where he directed a sales and marketing organization that produced nearly $1 billion in annual premium. In 1985 Bob founded Creekside Consulting Co., a marketing and management consulting service that consulted on the design and implementation of several successful statewide and national specialty managed care organizations. In 1989, Creekside became Claremont Business Group Inc. Currently, the Claremont family of companies includes Claremont Insurance Services, Claremont Behavioral Health, Montclare Technology Partners and Townsend Technology.
Bob was educated at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and completed the Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business, University of Michigan.

Michael Traynor has been with Claremont Insurance Services since 1993 as one of its founding members, and he has made a tremendous impact on nearly all aspects of the company’s sales, operations, and overall strategy. As the company’s resident technology visionary, Michael designed and installed the company’s information management system, designed and managed Claremont’s web site, and created the concept for PRISM, Claremont’s interactive, online broker service.
Prior to joining Claremont, Michael spent ten years in the printing and advertising industry where he worked for regional and national advertising firms in Northern California. Michael is a member of the Delta Dental Small Business Advantage Advisory Committee. He received his B.A. degree from San Francisco State University.

Ken has over twenty years’ experience successfully building and managing entrepreneurial organizations such as Claremont. Prior to joining Claremont, Ken was: consulting CFO startups in the software and medical device markets; CFO for ANTs software, a publicly-traded enterprise software company; and a founder of web and interactive developers eStar and era2 Interactive. His successes include: helping to secure over $50 million in financing; setting corporate strategy; building infrastructure for rapidly-growing companies; negotiating customer/partner agreements; and participating actively with Boards of Directors. Ken has an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA from the University of California at Davis.

Renee joins the Claremont team with over 15 years of healthcare marketing and sales enablement expertise. Working with organizations like Kaiser Permanente, UCSF Medical Center, and McKesson, Renee has successfully developed and executed business building and branding strategies for B2B and B2C markets. Prior to joining Claremont in 2014, Renee directed hospital-segment marketing strategy for McKesson’s pharmaceutical distribution business. Renee earned an MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Kathleen has been a vital part of the Claremont sales team since 2002. With over 30 years of extensive experience in the benefits insurance industry, she has worked as both a broker and a carrier representative for leading insurance companies such as Aetna, CIGNA, and Highmark Life & Casualty. Kathleen has built strong relationships in the broker community, and has recently served as the President of the Peninsula Chapter of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is an active member of the Silicon Valley Association of Health Underwriters (SVAHU) and the Northern California Employee Benefits Council (NCEBC).

Rita joined the Claremont sales team in 2005, bringing over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Her extensive knowledge of mid-market and small group insurance is a direct result of the many years she spent working as a representative for leading health insurance carriers, such as Aetna and PacifiCare. She is actively involved with a number of the Health Insurance Associations, such as the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and has served as a board member for the Golden Gate Association of Health Underwriters (GGAHU). Now a veteran of Claremont, Rebecca originally joined us in 2000 as an underwriter, and her career with us has equipped her with a unique insight into the challenges our clients face. From the introduction of HSAs in 2004 to the demise of PacAdvantage in 2006, Rebecca has seen it all. This deep experience has enabled her to become an indispensable partner to many of our top broker clients. When not helping her clients grow their businesses, Rebecca keeps her hands full with her two young children, Ava and Jake. Rebecca is also fluent in American sign language.

Robert joined Claremont in 2006 as a member of the sales and service team. He has held a variety of positions, including Broker Services Manager. As Business Development Manager, Robert is responsible for expanding Claremont’s customer base and guiding the development of new solutions to address the markets evolving needs. He is a regular participant at industry charity events. Before joining Claremont, Robert was with PacifiCare in the large group market.

Becky entered the benefits industry in 1995 and has held sales positions at PacifiCare and SafeGuard. She also has experience in the real estate market. She joined Claremont Insurance Services in 2007 and has worked in product development, strategic planning, and sales support. In her role as Regional Sales Manager, Becky is committed to assuring Claremont customers meet the needs of employers in Northern California with quality benefits. Becky is a graduate of Sacramento State University. Along with her two daughters, she is a member of a local chapter of National Charity League, Inc. Becky enjoys hiking, tennis and learning to play golf.

Patricia’s career spans the industry from provider network management and product development, to employee benefits sales. Before Joining Claremont Insurance Services in 2002, Patricia worked with innovative managed health organizations in provider network development and management. She is a graduate of Pacific Union College. Fluent in Spanish, Patricia has earned a reputation for communication with underserved communities and is a member of the California Association of Health Underwriters Diversity Panel.
