Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital has signed an agreement with Blue Shield of California (retroactively) effective June 1, 2008. This hospital agreement is for both HMO and PPO products.

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Medical Group has also signed an agreement with Blue Shield of California, which is effective July 11, 2008. This medical group agreement is for the PPO product only, as was the expired agreement.
                             
PPO Members:
Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Medical Group will now be participating providers in the Blue Shield PPO network. PPO members can have their hospital and professional care covered at the higher participating benefit level. HMO members were not affected by either of these terminations.
