Q. How much does PRISM cost?
A. PRISM is completely free for brokers

Q. Do I need to write business through Claremont in order to use PRISM?
A. No. There is absolutely no obligation to you for using PRISM. Of course, we very much value your business, and we’re confident that once you experience our unrivaled quality of service, that you will see the benefit of choosing Claremont as your general agency.

Q. Can I quote current vs. renewal?
A. Yes. On the Review Group Data page you’ll see Current Plan Information. Click on the drop down box to select the current carrier and to choose the appropriate RAF. Click ADD. Next, select the RATES button. Enter what plan each member currently has. Then, enter Employee Rates and Total Rate under the Current Column. Do not enter renewal data. The system will input this for you. Click NEXT.

Q. What are the common reasons that the screen shows an error message?
A.
Too many plans have been quoted. Please quote a maximum of 50 plans.
Make sure that the effective date you choose is allowed on the Welcome page.
Ensure you have carriers included on the Rating Options page.

Q. Can I get the exact quote format that I used to create on PRISM?
A. Yes. Click the EZ QUOTE button on the Proposal Options page. Remember to deSelect Vision and Life if you’re not quoting these products.

Q. Can I access additional plans on the View and Select Medical Plans page?
A. Yes. On the View and Select page, you’ll see a DETAILS button. Click HIDE, and then click RESELECT.

Q. Why can’t I see plans after selecting carriers?
A.
This occurs when you have fewer than 51% of the employees residing in California.
Confirm on the Welcome page that the carrier has rates for the date you want to quote.

Q. Do we quote IFP (Individual Family Plans)?
A. Yes. You will find the option to quote IFP on the Welcome page.

Q. On the proposal, can I show a Side-by-Side Benefit Comparison only?
A. Yes. On the Proposal Options page, scroll down to the Selected Medical Plan Information. In that section, check SIDE BY SIDE and BENEFITS ONLY. Click CREATE PROPOSAL.

Q. I created my proposal and realized that I input incorrect census data. Can I revise this?
A. Yes. On the Welcome page, select SMALL GROUP QUOTE. Scroll to the bottom of the page and double click on the group. This brings you to the Review Group Data page. Click on EDIT and ADD EMPLOYEES. Make changes, select NEXT, then check the REQUOTE box and click QUICKQUOTE.

Q. How do I revise a quote?
A. On the Review Group Data page, check the REQUOTE box and then click QUICKQUOTE. Once you’re on the Rating Options page, make sure that the carriers you selected before are in the Include box. Click SHOW RATES. Now that you are on the View and Select Medical Plans page, you can revise the plans you want to quote by checking the ALL box on the top right. Then click RESELECT.
