If you have small group clients that do not meet carrier participation or minimum employer contribution requirements, the Small Group Special Enrollment Period* (SEP) is the perfect solution.
Open now for a limited time, new small groups requesting a January 1, 2021 effective date are eligible for coverage without meeting the minimum participation and contribution requirements. What’s more, Blue Shield is extending their SEP deadline from the standard November 15 through December 15 dates and will accept submissions through December 31, 2020.
Groups enrolling during the SEP must meet all other small group eligibility requirements.
