Starting 7/1, CaliforniaChoice is expanding options for members residing outside of California. Two Anthem Blue Cross plans will be available through the Select PPO network for out-of-state members:

• Gold PPO C with the Select PPO network.
• Gold PPO D with the Select PPO network.

The Select PPO network plans offer a lower-cost alternative to the Prudent Buyer full network plans currently available to out-of-state members, and use the same Blue Card network as the Prudent Buyer network when outside of California — giving employees more flexibility when it comes to cost.

Ease is Transitioning to Employee Navigator

If you currently use Ease to manage your groups, you may have heard that Employee Navigator has announced a transition plan with a couple of key dates ahead: starting January 1, 2027, no new companies can be added to Ease, and by July 1, 2027, remaining groups will move to Read Only status.

While those dates may feel far off, it's worth starting to get familiar with Employee Navigator now — especially since brokers with an active Ease subscription can request a free Employee Navigator subscription to explore the platform alongside their current one.
