As cost concerns and rising inflation continue to be some of the top health care challenges for small businesses, offer your employers savings of up to 50% on health care premiums for up to two years with the Health Care Tax Credit – only available through Covered California for Small Business (CCSB). To maximize your clients’ savings, move them into a CCSB plan this year.
Use our simple turnkey Health Care Tax Credit Solution to ensure your clients get the most for their health care dollars. Provide us with some basic group information and we'll estimate the Tax Credit percentage and dollar amount that the group will qualify for.
Results we've seen so far:
75% qualified for the tax credit.
Nearly 25% of those purchased coverage after reviewing the tax credit report.
Earn bonus dollars on small group members who enroll in Health Net medical plans (including through CaliforniaChoice) with the Health Net New Member Incentive Program.

Please note that another Health Net program - the New 2022 Broker Incentive Program - ends June 30, 2022. This Program provided an incentive to brokers that had not sold a new Health Net medical plan during the past three years.

The COVID-19 pandemic has produced a huge increase in the demand for the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. A new law - SB 221 - coming into effect July 1, 2022 aims to strengthen access to mental health services. Your clients may be interested in knowing the details.
Under existing law, California health plans must ensure their network of providers, including doctors, can provide enrollees with an appointment within a specific number of days or hours. Under the new law effective July 1, 2022, this requirement now extends to treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
