Layoffs, furloughs, and reduced hours, due to COVID-19, have many workers worried about their income and benefits. According to the 18th Annual MetLife Annual U.S. Employee Benefit Trends Study 2020, more than half of employees are concerned about the pandemic’s effect on their financial health and holistic well being.
A recent survey revealed 50% of employees said employer-offered disability insurance would best support them or a loved one if out of work due to a serious illness or injury.
