As many California businesses are considering returning to their ‘new normal’ – work routines, creating a safe and productive workplace is a necessity.
With the Covered California for Small Business (CCSB) "A Partnership That Pays" bonus, agents who place new small group business with CCSB, July 1, 2020 - January 1, 2021, can earn up to an $8,000 bonus per group, in addition to competitive commissions. Best of all, the bonus is per group with no maximum number of groups!
To help employers reopen their worksites, UnitedHealthcare is providing helpful information and considerations such as how to confirm your region is ready, preparing for the worksite return, preparing employees prior to the return, beginning the worksite process, and once back at the worksite. UnitedHealthcare has announced new changes to their underwriting guidelines, effective immediately:
Elimination of ID card requirement for Waivers.
A DE9-C is not required for groups with 6+ eligible employees. The Participation and Floor Certification form can be used in lieu of a DE9-C. A DE9C is still required for groups of 5 or less eligible employees.
This new change does not apply to start-up companies. Start-up companies are required to submit the required documents listed in the underwriting guidelines.
Allow valid Waivers when employer contributes 100%.
