Impact of Association Health Plan Decision Clarified

In March, a District of Columbia judge invalidated the Department of Labor’s (DOL) new rule regarding Association Health Plans (AHPs). The rule significantly relaxed the requirements for establishing AHPs. This injected uncertainty into the rapidly expanding market for AHPs formed under the new rule.
