Groups with UnitedHealthcare medical, dental or vision coverage qualify for UnitedHealthcare’s no-cost COBRA*, FSA and POP plan administration. In California, small groups with at least 2 eligible employees will qualify.
Enrolling in these services is as simple as selecting them in the group’s online portal after the group application is approved, or at any time later in the plan year. Once enrolled, UnitedHealthcare provides all the support the group needs, including templates and tools to help effectively communicate with employees.
**UnitedHealthcare administers Cal-COBRA when the employer is subject to it under California state law. UnitedHealthcare administers federal COBRA when employers subject to it – including those transitioning from Cal-COBRA – enroll in UnitedHealthcare’s COBRA administration services.
