Ancillary benefits are even easier to sell with UnitedHealthcare’s Dental Simplified 2.0 relaxed underwriting, and the addition of an EAP with Life/AD&D benefits (effective January 1, 2019 – July 1, 2019).

EAP Pilot Program for Life/AD&D

Previously offered with Long-Term Disability only, an EAP will be included at no cost with Life/AD&D benefits. (Most carriers now offer EAP with Basic Life.) Included are three face-to-face visits with unlimited 24/7 phone access. This EAP pilot program is for groups with effective dates of January 1, 2019 – July 1, 2019. UnitedHealthcare is evaluating whether to make it a permanent benefit.

The new EAP benefit will be added to the standard no-fee life insurance benefits including Beneficiary Services, Travel Assistant, Wealth Management, and Will and Trust. Learn more about the EAP Member Assistance Program.
