Previously offered with Long-Term Disability only, an EAP will be included at no cost with Life/AD&D benefits. (Most carriers now offer EAP with Basic Life.) Included are three face-to-face visits with unlimited 24/7 phone access. This EAP pilot program is for groups with effective dates of January 1, 2019 – July 1, 2019. UnitedHealthcare is evaluating whether to make it a permanent benefit.
