Show off your magical elf’s personality and festive spirit in your office. Get creative by incorporating props and using free photo/video editing apps to create unique Instagram posts. Inspirational, humorous and/or whimsical styles are encouraged – just keep the theme workplace-appropriate for your contest entry. Details below.

How to Enter

1. On Instagram, follow @claremontinsuranceservices.
2. Snap a photo or video of your clever elf, include the hashtag #ClaremontElfChallenge and the tag @claremontinsuranceservices in the caption of your entry post.
3. Get your co-workers, colleagues, and friends to comment on your post to earn points. Each week, the elf photo or video with the most comments will win a prize.
4. Earn bonus points if you include the Claremont brand and your agency brand!

Prizes

• $50 Amazon gift card for one winner each week until Christmas.
• $200 Amazon gift card for the grand prize winner at the end of the contest.

Contest Details

All entries must be posted to Instagram between December 2, 2019, at 8:00 am PST, and December 31, 2019, at 11:59 pm PST (Contest Period). You can enter once per day with a unique photo or video. Entries will be judged on the number of comments, so spread the word about your submission.

Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. All information provided by entrants becomes the property of Claremont Insurance Services and may appear in Claremont Insurance Services’ marketing communications. Winners will be notified by Instagram comment each week. So, check back to our Instagram feed for the winners.

To enter by email, send your photo or video to marketing@claremontcompanies.com. Please be sure to include the promotion name “Claremont Elf Challenge” in the subject line, and include your contact information. All email entries must be received by the Contest end date.

There is no limit on the number of Instagram entries per entrant during the Contest Period. You will receive one entry per unique Instagram post, and may submit as many email entries as you wish. Private Instagram accounts must be made public during the contest in order to be entered. Do not tag yourself in photos if you are not in the photo. Eligibility Requirements

Entrants must be 21 years or older. California residents only. Claremont employees and their immediate family members, vendors and/or suppliers are not eligible. Claremont reserves the right to revise the Contest Period at any time without prior notification. All entries outside of the Contest Period will be disqualified.

How to Create a Free Instagram Account

1. Download the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Once the app is installed, tap the Instagram icon to open it.
3. Tap Sign Up With Email or Phone Number (Android) or Create New Account (iPhone), then enter your email address or phone number (which will require a confirmation code) and tap Next. You can also tap Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
4. If you register with your email or phone number, create a username and password, fill out your profile info and then tap Done. If you register with Facebook, you’ll be prompted to log into your Facebook account if you’re currently logged out.

How to Post on Instagram

1. Open Instagram. Tap the Instagram app icon, which resembles a multicolored camera front.
2. Tap + icon (bottom-center of the screen).
3. Select an upload option.
4. Choose a photo or video from your library – or shoot one in the app. Tap Next.
5. Crop the image, pick a filter or effect. You can use the photo/video editing apps on this page. Tap Next.
6. Type your caption with the hashtag #ClaremontElfChallenge and include the tag @claremontinsuranceservices. Play with emojis.
7. Move the sliders to share the post on other social media platforms.
8. Tap Share (upper right corner).
