- Online Renewals
Agents and employers can select and confirm multiple employees through the online portal at the group’s renewal making the renewal process easier.
- Extended New Group Submission Deadlines
The remaining new group submission deadlines have been extended to the 15th of each month.
- Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
The timeframe is from November 15, 2020, through December 15, 2020. During this period, new small groups do not need to meet the minimum participation requirements or employer contribution, however, eligibility requirements still apply.
- Please note: CCSB does not recertify SEP groups at the following year’s renewal.
- Employee-Only Coverage
One of the unique features of CCSB is the ability for employers to offer employee-only coverage, which provides employees more options to find affordable dependent coverage through Covered California’s individual marketplace.
