This course offers an overview of long-term care: defining Long Term Care (Extended Care), choices for care services, how LTC is paid for, cost of care in California, and how Medicare and Medical come into plan.
The course will compare the two types of Long Term Care insurance coverages. Traditional and Hybrid (also referred to as Linked Benefits) and explain the benefit and coverage options. Both of these coverages pay for care but are funded differently, having varying implications for financial planning purposes. Also covered will be how Group, Multi-Life, and Association LTCi benefits are used in the workplace.
