Join CAHU for an amazing event to revitalize the CAHU Foundation. The Masquerade Ball will feature a live band, dancing and a silent auction.

Why you should attend:
Our industry is in desperate need of someone to take the lead in establishing a more accurate understanding of the value-add health insurance agents have in our communities. The CAHU Foundation will begin pro-actively educating the general public with accurate information regarding health insurance and the cost of health care. CAHU would like the Foundation to take the lead here. Not only will they be doing a huge service to the communities served, but they will begin to truly establish CAHU members as the trusted experts and resource across the state.

First mission: create a press release, prior to the November elections, regarding how the foundation is being revitalized to help educate California citizens on the many complexities of health care and health insurance. Creating a more educated consumer will lead to a more stabilized health insurance market. The first $25K raised will go to producing an annual CA Health Care Poll.

As momentum builds, with your help, they would like to continue efforts of building a stronger presence in our communities initially focusing on:

• Providing consumer education around health insurance at a local level.
• Creating a jobs training program for new and mid-career agents in the industry.
• Assisting local communities by supporting local community clinics and working with local charities.
