Our industry is in desperate need of someone to take the lead in establishing a more accurate understanding of the value-add health insurance agents have in our communities. The CAHU Foundation will begin pro-actively educating the general public with accurate information regarding health insurance and the cost of health care. CAHU would like the Foundation to take the lead here. Not only will they be doing a huge service to the communities served, but they will begin to truly establish CAHU members as the trusted experts and resource across the state.
First mission: create a press release, prior to the November elections, regarding how the foundation is being revitalized to help educate California citizens on the many complexities of health care and health insurance. Creating a more educated consumer will lead to a more stabilized health insurance market. The first $25K raised will go to producing an annual CA Health Care Poll.
