The Virtual Blue plans give members (small and large groups) the choice of virtual or in-person care. Virtual care includes $0 unlimited visits to primary care, behavioral health and specialty care through a new partnership with AccoladeCare. In-person care is available through the Tandem PPO network in California and via BlueCard when outside of the state.
The two Virtual Blue small group plans available in PRISM are the Virtual Blue Gold Tandem PPO 1500/45 and Virtual Blue Bronze Tandem PPO 7500/75. These can be identified by ‘Virtual Blue’ in the plan name.
When using the PRISM filter options for Narrow or Broad networks, select ‘All’ networks instead of ‘Broad’ only networks to generate plans for Blue Shield’s Virtual Blue, Trio HMO, and Tandem PPO plans.

The SVAHU Board of Directors is proud to honor the memory and spirit of John Bobincheck with their annual golf tournament.
John Bobincheck was a vibrant member of our insurance community. While most knew him for his work at BenefitMall and Claremont Insurance Services, John also served as President of the Silicon Valley Association of Health Underwriters from 2016 to 2017. Under John’s leadership, SVAHU promoted professional development with a focus on technology and innovation.
There are a few changes to the 2021 John Bobincheck Memorial Golf Classic. To assure your health and safety, as well as all attendees and the country club staff, all of the activities at this year’s event will take place outdoors. Each golfer will be provided a single passenger golf cart. Day of event check-in will be conducted online. There will not be an awards ceremony, but a casual gathering at the “19th hole.” However, there will be more time to connect throughout the day and on the course.
Sponsors are encouraged to participate by hosting one of a tee or hole stations. (These are limited, so please contact SVAHU if you’re interested in hosting.) We’re confident that the adjustments planned will enable a safe and fun day out for all.
