To help brighten the season and enhance your online virtual presence, we invite you to enter our #ClaremontHolidaySelfies contest and share your favorite holiday tradition. We’ll thank every entrant with a custom branded Zoom background, plus you’ll have a chance to win a digital presence consultation. Simply submit a creative video (under :30 seconds) or photo telling us about your favorite holiday traditions. Feel free to include your family members (furry and otherwise), incorporate props, and use photo and video editing apps to create unique imagery! Humorous and whimsical videos are encouraged. Favorite Holiday Tradition Video Ideas

• Show off your ugliest sweater. Slip on your sweater and strike a pose.
• Display your funniest holiday outfits. Put your ensemble together and have a mini fashion show.
• Make your favorite family recipe. Prepare it on camera (like the Food Network) or make it ahead of time and do a show-and-tell.
• Share your best cookie recipe. Show us the finished goods as you describe what makes them special.
• Weirdest holiday gift received. Share the strangest present you ever gave or received.
• Best holiday decor. Give us a tour and explain what you’ve created.
• Favorite holiday jingle. Sing along with your favorite music, if you are so inclined.
• Favorite holiday movie. Re-enact your favorite scene or tell us why your holiday movie is the best.

Contest Details

All entries must be posted to Instagram or submitted with the form between December 7, 2020, at 8:00 am PST, and January 15, 2021, at 11:59 pm PST (Contest Period). You can enter once per day with a unique video (under :30 seconds) or photo. Entries will be posted on the Claremont website.

Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. All information provided by entrants becomes the property of Claremont Insurance Services and may appear in Claremont Insurance Services’ marketing communications. Winners will be posted on our website, and they’ll be notified by Instagram comment or email.

There is no limit on the number of entries per entrant during the Contest Period. You may submit as many Instagram entries and form submissions as you wish. All entries must be received by the Contest end date. Private Instagram accounts must be made public during the contest in order to be entered. Do not tag yourself in photos if you are not in the photo. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or assisted with, Instagram.

Eligibility Requirements

Entrants must be 21 years or older. California residents only. Claremont employees and their immediate family members, vendors and/or suppliers are not eligible. Claremont reserves the right to revise the Contest Period at any time without prior notification. All entries outside of the Contest Period will be disqualified.

How to Create a Free Instagram Account

1. Download the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Once the app is installed, tap the Instagram icon to open it.
3. Tap Sign Up With Email or Phone Number (Android) or Create New Account (iPhone), then enter your email address or phone number (which will require a confirmation code) and tap Next. You can also tap Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
4. If you register with your email or phone number, create a username and password, fill out your profile info and then tap Done. If you register with Facebook, you’ll be prompted to log into your Facebook account if you’re currently logged out.

How to Post on Instagram

1. Open Instagram. Tap the Instagram app icon, which resembles a multicolored camera front.
2. Tap + icon (bottom-center of the screen).
3. Select an upload option.
4. Choose a video or photo from your library – or shoot one in the app. Tap Next.
5. Crop the image, pick a filter or effect. You can use the photo/video editing apps on this page. Tap Next.
6. Type your caption with the hashtag #ClaremontHolidaySelfies and include the tag @claremontinsuranceservices. Play with emojis.
7. Move the sliders to share the post on other social media platforms.
8. Tap Share (upper right corner).
