According to the survey:
Less than half of small businesses are likely to keep their current health insurance carrier.
Top 5 factors that would influence small businesses to change their health insurance provider:
27% of respondents said that a top influencing factor in changing their health insurance carrier is finding one that better understands and cares about their business and employees. When looking for a new health insurance company, 24% of respondents said they’d prioritize 24/7 telemedicine services integrated into the plans.
Small businesses are not only thinking more broadly about how their insurance company can address a broader scope of employees’ needs, 87% of respondents rated internal medicine as the most important area when evaluating the importance of affordable coverage after the pandemic.
