TriNet Broker Incentive: Earn Up to $10,000 Per Eligible PEO/OMS Referral

TriNet has enhanced its 2026 Referral Incentive Program with new earning opportunities for brokers who deliver eligible new business between June and September 2026 — with the potential to earn more by closing multiple deals.

The Base Incentive

For eligible new PEO or OMS clients with a first payroll date between June 1 and September 30, 2026, brokers earn a one-time bonus in addition to their standard referral fee:

$5,000 for new clients with 10–49 worksite employees (WSEs)
$10,000 for new clients with 50+ WSEs

Payouts follow a two-part schedule: 50% in October 2026, and the remaining 50% in October 2027, provided the client remains with TriNet at the time of the second payout.

Close More, Earn More

TriNet is rewarding brokers who close multiple eligible deals (10+ WSEs) during the initial June–September window with extended earning periods:

Close 2+ eligible deals during the initial period, and you’ll unlock an extension through October 31, 2026. Additional eligible clients with first payrolls in October 2026 are paid 50% in November 2026 and 50% in November 2027 (contingent on the client remaining with TriNet).
Close 3+ eligible deals during the initial period, and the extension runs through December 31, 2026. Additional eligible clients with first payrolls between October and December 2026 are paid 50% in January 2027 and 50% in January 2028 (contingent on the client remaining with TriNet).

If you have PEO or OMS prospects in your pipeline, this is a meaningful window to accelerate those conversations — and the multiple-deal structure rewards brokers who can bring more than one qualifying client to the table this year.

Eligibility is limited to broker-referred new PEO/OMS clients with a completed and funded first payroll during the applicable incentive period, subject to verification and TriNet’s eligibility criteria. Terms are subject to change at TriNet’s discretion.
